About the Society:
Shri Sharda Bhavan Educational Society was established as an educational trust to dispel darkness of illiteracy and to provide quality education to economically and industrially backward region of the state in 1952. A modest effort in this direction was initiated by some eminent personalities of this area. The Founder President Hon'ble Dr. Shankarraoji Chavan (Former Union Home Minister) established the first school in 1956 and then onwards there was no looking back for the society. Higher education facility was introduced in 1963 in the areas of Arts, Commerce and basic Sciences, followed by legal, technical and teachers’ education. The Society has kept its educational graph rising for the decades. It expanded into many schools and colleges. The society always looked forward for upgrading the educational facilities so as to keep itself prompt with the changes in the rural and urban areas. This contribution was recognized as awards like ‘Dalit Mitra Puraskar' and 'Rajya Puraskar' to the society from the State Govt. of Maharashtra. Today, Shri Sharda Bhavan Education Society is one of the reputed educational societies in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. The society has given a significant contribution in research and educational development of Nanded district.
About the College:
Shri Sharda Bhavan Education Society laid foundation of Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya, Nanded, in 1963 and ever since, it has been emerging as one of the premier institutions of higher learning in the region of Marathwada. The academic programs run by the college are the amalgam of traditional, value-added, add-on, need-based and career-oriented courses, taught by a team of experienced and efficient faculty. The college has nineteen research centers in Arts, Commerce and Science disciplines with thirty-eight faculties as research guides guiding hundred and fifty research students on the campus. The college is the study center of YCMOU Nasik for graduation and Post-graduation Programs. Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya has a long- standing academic tradition of excellence in research and scholarship. Here in the Yeshwant campus students are groomed for curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular excellence. The dedication and the team work of stakeholders have won several laurels to the institution. The college is identified as College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) by UGC New Delhi and re- accredited with "A" grade with 3.29 CGPA (III Cycle) by NAAC Bengaluru, thus making a hat-trick in securing ‘A’ grade. The college is proud to have received The Best Teacher Award by the State Government. The college has been awarded The Best College Award by SRTMUN. The college is honored to get the Best Principal Award, The Best Teacher award and The Best NSS Officer Award. The college magazine Yashodeep-has been awarded the Ist prize by the affiliating University. The college is the proud recipient of the Maharashtra State Level first prize, the parent university level first prize and the Nanded district level first prize for the gender equality programs executed on the campus under the Government of Maharashtra activity titled “Jagar Janivancha”. The institution reaches the zenith to receive the Indira Gandhi Best NSS Program Officer Award and the Indira Gandhi Best NSS College Award from the hands of His Excellency, Honorable Shri Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi. The institution received “One District One Green Champion” on 11-08-2021 from Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya, Nanded has been established in 2004 and ever since it has been active in establishing quality benchmarks for the progress of the college. With the first IQAC coordinator as Dr. Radha Girdhari, the college faced the first NAAC cycle; followed by Dr. Neeraj Salunkhe and Dr. Neeraj Pande during the NAAC Second cycle; with Dr. M. M. V. Baig as the co-ordinator, the college faced the Third Cycle of NAAC. The college is extremely happy to have stood “A” grade in all the three cycles. The IQAC of the college has been reshuffled according to the NAAC guidelines with Dr. L.V. Padmarani Rao as the coordinator at present. The IQAC of the college has been instrumental in receiving RUSA grants; applied for NIRF Ranking; and successfully implemented the Paramarsh scheme of UGC, New Delhi from September 2019 to September 2021 and helped six institutes in the region to get NAAC Accredited. The IQAC of the college has been instrumental in developing the software of the institutional Stock Management Software for maintaining the stock of the entire institution in the online mode and IQAC Information Management Software for maintaining the faculty information with supporting documents online. The IQAC of the college has been vibrant in submitting the AQARs till date and bringing about quality initiatives on the campus.
About the Seminar
The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) is a policy formulated by the Government of India which covers elementary education to higher education in both rural and urban India. It discusses reducing curriculum content to enhance essential learning, critical thinking and more holistic experiential, discussion-based and analysis- based learning and also talks about a revision of the curriculum and pedagogical structure. The accreditation and re-accreditation of higher education institutions by NAAC Bangalore is a mandatory procedure of external evaluation of the quality of all higher education institutions that is carried out in five-year cycles. The evaluation of a higher education institution includes a quality analysis and an assessment made by an expert panel according to a four-point scale and previously defined quality standards, divided into five areas of institutional activity: • Internal quality assurance and the social role of the higher education institution, • Study programmes, • Teaching process and student support, • Teaching and institutional capacities, • Scientific/artistic activity The present Seminar aims at looking at bridging the National Education Policy and its implementation for sustaining quality in the higher education institutions. The Seminar also aims at maintaining quality in the re- accreditation of the higher education institutions in the light of NEP 2020.

Call for Papers
The Conference invites full length original research contributions of professionals from Academic Institutions, Government Undertakings, Research Scholars and Student community across the Nation based on the theme and sub-themes mentioned, though the sub-themes are not restricted to those mentioned. You are free to pen on the relevant areas.
Paper submission guidelines The manuscript should be prepared in the following format: • Title of the Paper, Name, Position, Affiliation, Contact No. & Email Id. • Abstract of not more than 250 words with 3-4 keywords at the end of Abstract. • Paper should be submitted in MS Word format with font size (12, Times New Roma n, 1.5 line spacing) • Title of the Paper should be font size 12 & aligned. • All Tables & diagrams should be properly numbered and provided at the end of the paper. • The reference formatting should done following guidelines given on our webpage.
